Facebook Custom Audience via the Facebook pixel

On our pages pages of this site we use the Facebook pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited

In the event of the user’s express consent, the behavior of visitors to the pages of the site can be followed and tracked after they have seen or clicked on an advertisement on Facebook. The aforementioned method is useful for evaluating the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes, and helps to improve subsequent advertising campaigns.

The data collected is anonymous and does not provide us with any information on the identity of the users. However, it should be noted that the collected data are stored and processed by Facebook which can link the collected data to the user’s profile. Facebook may use the information for its own advertising purposes in accordance with its data usage directive. The user may also or oppose the use of cookies by third parties – including Facebook of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited – on the website of the Digital Advertising Alliance indicated below: https://www.aboutads.info/choices

Google AdWords and Google AdWords remarketing

The remediaamoris.com website uses Google Adwords, an analysis service from Google and in this context, conversion tracking as well as Google AdWords remarketing are also used.

The conversion tracking function of Google AdWords installs a cookie (so-called conversion cookie) on the user’s computer when the user clicks on an advertisement shown by Google. These cookies lose their effectiveness after 30 days and do not collect information that can personally identify a user. When certain pages on our site are visited, we and Google can recognize that the visitor has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to that page.

The information obtained through the conversion cookies is used to compile statistics for AdWords customers who have activated the conversion tracking function. Through the aforementioned statistics we can know the total number of users who have clicked on a Google ad and who have visited a page with the conversion tracking tag. Further information about the terms of use and data protection in connection with Google AdWords can be found here.

Through Google remarketing, Google places a cookie in the browser of the user’s device which, through the use of a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages visited by the user / visitor, automatically enables advertising according to the user’s interests. Any further data processing will only take place if the visitor has consented to Google that his internet browsing history and Google applications are linked to his Google account and that the information from that account is used to personalize the ads he will see on the web. . If the visitor to the site is connected to Google while visiting our website, Google will use their data together with those of Google Analytics and Google AdWords to create and define lists of target groups for cross-device remarketing (cross-remarketing of devices). For this purpose, Google temporarily links the personal data of page visitors with data from Google Analytics and Google AdWords in order to form target groups.

You can permanently disable the setting of cookies for advertising preferences by installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/

Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick

remediaamoris.com uses the expertise on crossing and sharing data between devices provided by Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick belonging to the provider Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland. This function allows you to link Google Analytics remarketing ads with the tools for crossing and sharing data offered by Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, personalized advertisements, created based on the interests of the user browsing a specific site using a given device (such as a mobile phone), can also be shown on other devices of the same user (tablet or PC).

Once the user gives his consent, Google connects the browser history to the corresponding Google account for the purposes described above. By doing so, the same personalized ad can be shown on every device on which the user has logged in to their Google profile. To ensure the functioning of this tool, Google Analytics collects the Google IDs of users connected to our data archive (always created through Analytics) and uses them to create reference groups aimed at crossing data for sharing and promoting advertising content. The site visitor can always oppose the display of remarketing ads on various devices by deactivating personalized advertising messages from their Google account: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/. If the visitor wants to refuse the general process of tracking information concerning him, he can disable cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com by changing the browser settings https://www.google.de/settings/ads.

The storage of data collected through the site visitor’s Google account takes place only with consent that can be given and revoked by the user at any time (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Other information is recorded without the help of the Google account, for example when the visitor does not have such an account or because he has not given the necessary authorization. Remediaamoris.com is entitled to collect this data, given the economic interest and for advertising purposes in the anonymous analysis of information regarding visitors to the site. For more information read the Google Privacy Statement: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads.

Google Signals

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. the interest in the analysis, optimization and economic performance of our online offer in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the GDPR) we use Google signals, the analysis service of the web traffic. With signals, Google makes available analysis reports on the number of users connected by the various devices, as well as on the different groups of users, based on the different combinations of devices used. For this purpose, Google uses the data of users who have activated the “personalized advertising” option in their Google account settings. Google Signals only analyzes IP addresses on which anonymization has been activated. This means that the IP address of users within the EU Member States and the European Economic Area is shortened. This abbreviation implies the anonymization of your IP address. In this way, it is not possible to trace the identity of individual users. The registration authorization by Google Signals can be revoked at any time: the visitor to the site simply deactivates the “personalized advertising” option on his Google account: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=it

Additional information on how Google processes personal data in its advertising network can be found here: Advertising and data protection.

Google reCaptcha

In order to protect the data you enter via the forms on this site, we use the reCaptcha service of Google Inc. (Google). This service verifies that you are a person to prevent some of the site’s functions from being (ab) used by spam robots (particularly in the comments section). The use of this function implies that your IP address and other data requested by Google for the Google reCaptcha service. In any case, within the member states of the European Union and the European Economic Area, the IP address is truncated and made anonymous before being transmitted by Google. Only in exceptional cases is the IP address sent in full to one of Google’s servers in the United States and truncated once received. Google then uses this information to verify on our behalf how you are using our site. The IP address provided by reCaptcha will not be aggregated with any other data held by Google.

The collection of this data is subject to the data protection regulations of Google (Google Inc.). For more information on Google’s privacy policy visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy

By using the reCaptcha service you authorize Google to process your data for the purpose and in the manner described above.

Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, text files that are saved on the visitor’s computer in order to analyze his behavior on this site. The information collected through cookies, including the IP address of the visitor to this site, is usually transmitted to Google’s servers and stored there.

The legitimate interest in data processing lies in the optimization of the website, the analysis of the use that visitors make of it and the adaptation of the contents. Visitors’ right to privacy is adequately guaranteed through pseudonymisation.

Google LLC has obtained the certification of compliance with the Privacy Shield and therefore guarantees compliance with the standards of protection of personal data. The data sent and associated with cookies, user identifiers (eg user IDs) or advertising identifiers are automatically deleted after 50 months. The deletion of data that has reached the expiration of the retention period takes place automatically once a month.

Data collection by Google Analytics may face limitations if the site visitor changes the cookie settings. The detection and storage of the IP address can be revoked at any time without retroactive effect. The browser add-on (plugin) for deactivating Google Analytics can be downloaded, and then installed, by clicking on this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Further information on data processing by Google, the options for configuring and deactivating the service can be found in the Google Privacy Statement and in the ways to personalize advertisements on Google.

The use of this function implies that your IP address and other data requested by Google are processed for the Google reCaptcha service.
