The vulva and vagina are separate body parts and can be easily mistaken. This article aims to clarify the difference between the two organs.

They are not Sinonymus
Although they are used as such, the terms refer to two different areas of the body.
The Vulva
This is the visible external part of genitalia, which includes the following: the clitoris (glans and prepuce),Outer labia, Inner labia, Urethral meatus, Vaginal access.
The Vagina
The Vagina
It's a channel that connects the vulva to the uterus and measures about 8 to 12 centimetres in length.
We can add that
 The vaginal canal is very flexible. Under normal conditions it is flat, but expands to fit penetration during intercourse.
Consequently:
When we speak of external stimulation, we refer to stimulation of the vulva.
When we speak of internal stimulation, we refer to penetrative intercourse and vaginal stimulation.
